“The steadfast love of the Lord never ends (fades)! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies (kindnesses) begin fresh each morning.”Lamentation 3:22,23 ESV

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy (kindness), and we will find grace to help when we need it most.”Heb. 4:16 NLT

Father in Heaven, I pray today for those who need a fresh start … who woke up this morning scared that this day won’t be any better than yesterday.

The day might be crummy … but You are still good.

I pray that Your love and Your truth make their way to the spouse who is about to make an awful choice … the addict who feels buried in hopelessness … the person who is sick of playing emotional games … the woman who is exhausted from deceiving others … the dad who thinks his prayers will never be answered … the victim who aches because she is crushed with pain and unforgiveness… the teen who believes she is invisible behind a wall of loneliness … the isolated widower … the critically ill woman who is terrified … the kid sitting in a jail cell, his life and others destroyed by horrible decisions … the unloved child of parents who were unloved children … the one who can’t seem to fit in anywhere …

There is no prayer You can’t hear … no heart You can’t reach.

Help me be willing LORD. If I am to be Your hands, Your words of comfort to a hurting person, Your kindness. Don’t let me miss it.You kingdom come … Your will be done.

In Jesus Name

I am devoting much of this year to joining with others in prayer, so am therefore filling my social media pages with requests like this. I invite you to join along with prayers and requests of your own. Join in silently or add to the comments.

It is an awesome thing to watch the Lord at work through the prayers of His children.
