Oh Father,
Before the foundation of the world … before a single thing was created … You loved Your Son.
And from the very beginning of it all, You loved us … You loved me. And You STILL love me.
There IS a purpose for all this mess on earth … it is a battle for what You love. It is a battle for me … for each of us. We are the spoils of this war.
I pray for every weary heart that is longing for peace, for hope, for meaning to it all. May Your Holy Spirit whisper, “You were loved before the foundation of the world.”
Help us surrender to this truth, Father. We belong to You. Let our hearts swell with this truth! You LOVE us.
No matter what we face .. what painful crisis … illness … straying child… relentless, hateful enemy … cruelty … the meanness I’ve done to others … addictions that won’t let go … nonstop loneliness … haunting fear … even death itself … I CHOOSE NOT TO FEAR. For nothing can separate me from the love of God. Nothing.
Your love is the very reason I am here.Help me love You with full intention. Unite my divided heart. I choose to follow and love You with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength. I just need your help, Father .. some days it’s harder than others.
By Your love I will overcome the one who despises my soul … and by Your love I leave a fingerprint on this earth that points
others to You.Oh Father, thank you for Your love.
